A dance video on TikTok isn't something out of the ordinary, but sometimes people unintentionally record things that could make a clip special or even terrifying. TikTok user, @reubix_cube also accidentally recorded a possible house invasion while recording a dance video, and viewers got an eerie feeling. He shared a video of himself dancing to 'Say So' by Doja Cat, stating that he was alone at home when the video shot. However, keen observers were quick to spot a scary background figure that sparked suspicions. The video was meant to focus on the person's dancing skills, but many others were drawn to a fleeting figure near the stairs that vanished as soon as it arrived. Wild guesses flooded the video's comment section.

As viewers speculated if the mysterious individual was a ghost, an invader, an animal, or if the whole thing was staged, the comments area burst with thousands of thoughts. Although the video is currently unavailable on TikTok, you can watch it on YouTube. In the comment section, one YouTube user @mhail7874 commented, “I don’t know why a cat or a dog would just come in for a quick peek and quickly move their head back for those who think it’s a pet.” Another person, @Liz-cd1fd, commented, “This is the third video I watched with “the grudge” looking “ghost” peeking in the background.”

However, a few others suggested that he might have staged the entire video to create a buzz. A YouTube user with the username @cajun-brat6768 commented, “I used to love the Paranormal and believed in it until YouTube started covering the paranormal. Now I'm a skeptic because they're all fake!” Following them, @alaina_paige chimed in, “It’s not real. Either it’s someone in on this whole thing, or it’s a pet. There’s no way it’s anything else.” Reu promised to answer as many comments as possible later, as reported by The Mirror. He posted follow-up videos to update everyone on the situation, admitting that he had initially feared the figure might have been a person, but after thoroughly checking the house with his family, they ruled that out.

As reported by UNILAD, he said, "If I were to manufacture a video just to go viral, I would have perfected the dance or at least made myself look a bit more presentable." Reu clarified that he didn’t live in an area with possums, nor did he have any pets, though his house was located near a graveyard. Despite all the speculation, he still didn't find an answer to what appeared at the top of his stairs. Since the video went live, it’s racked up more than a million views and sparked thousands of comments. A follow-up video, where Reu reacted to the eerie footage, also had millions of views.

He also took the opportunity to address claims that the entire thing was staged for attention. The TikTok user also shared a memory from around 2012-2013, when he had some renovations done at his house. He filmed a video of the newly finished space to show his grandparents. In one scene, a figure that looks like a person appears briefly, standing under the curtains. However, when the camera swiftly swings back to that spot, the figure has vanished, as reported by News.
