Aaron Rodgers posted an update

After the successful completion of the medical process, Rodgers took to his Instagram Story and posted a picture of himself from the hospital bed.

The photo showed him in a patient gown along with a surgical cap and a medical mask, which was stuck on his chin.

He wrote, “Surgery went great yesterday. Thank you for all the love and prayers and support.”

“And thanks to the [goat emoji] Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for starting me on the road to recovery,” the legend added.

Netizens troll Aaron Rodgers

But there were people online who did not miss the chance of trolling Rodgers for donning the mask.

In the past, the sportsman had expressed his distate for Covid measures — from masks to vaccines — when the pandemic was at its peak.

He also reportedly wrongly claimed, “I’ve been immunized. There’s a lot of conversation around it, around the league, and a lot of guys who have made statements and not made statements, owners who have made statements.”

“There’s guys on the team that haven’t been vaccinated. I think it’s a personal decision. I’m not going to judge those guys,” he had stated.

A user tweeted, “I thought it was his body, his choice, and his personal medical decisions are nobody's business but him and his doctors.” Another user wrote, “His chin is now protected from COVID!”

The third user remarked, “Lost his Achilles. Found science.” The fourth one mentioned, “He'd be wearing the mask correctly if he found science. Looks like he's wearing it to mock us.”

“To honor Aaron, the hospital staff will not wash their hands, sterilize equipment, and, while we're at it, how's about we skip this whole ‘anesthesia’ thing?” the fifth one jokingly added.
