MADRID, SPAIN: After a severe accident, Amber Heard was seen walking on crutches while holding her daughter, who is rarely seen.

After her brutal defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, the 37-year-old actress decided to move to Spain last year. She had a surrogate daughter named Oonagh Paige in 2021.

Since relocating to Madrid, Amber has been seen walking with a limp alongside her daughter, sister Whitney Henriquez, and her sister's young children.

Amber has reportedly been using crutches and walking aids since suffering a hip injury last month while preparing for the upcoming New York Marathon. She would still be participating in the yearly event, which is held in November, her spokesperson told Page Six.

The 'Aquaman' actress wore a casual outfit and accessorized with a black walking stick as she watched over her daughter, who is two years old. She completed her look with a pair of designer sandals and a messy bun in her blonde hair while donning a black camisole and loose-fitting mom jeans.

Along with her mother, Oonagh was seen sporting a similar style, and her blonde hair looked adorable in two messy buns on top of her head.

Amber held toddler close during outing

Despite using the walking aid, Amber tightly held her toddler daughter's hand the entire time they were on their trip to the neighborhood playground and even carried her for a brief period of time on her hip.

Along with entertaining her nephew as they walked home from the playground, she was also seen pushing her sister's pushchair, as reported by Mirror.

Amber Heard on parenthood

In July 2021, Amber announced that her daughter had arrived three months after Oonagh's surrogate birth. In an emotional post sharing the news, the actress, who was married to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp until their bitter divorce in 2016, explained she wanted to have a child "on her own terms."

She wrote, "Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.”

She added, “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib."

She further noted, "A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone's business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this."

Amber regularly updates her fans on motherhood on social media, and in a heartfelt caption for one of her posts, she reflected on being a single parent. She captioned a picture of herself and baby Oonagh using her laptop, "I'm just the mom and the dad. She's the boss."

Amber moved from the US to Mallorca after the infamous defamation trial last year, and reportedly rented an apartment using a pseudonym. She later decided on a residence in an upscale area of Madrid.
