According to the National Enquirer (via Radar Online), the 'Maleficent' star hasn't warmed up to Pax's new girlfriend.
A source said, "She's been grilling this poor girl about her intentions, her education, and where she stands on everything from politics to overall ambitions, as well as digging into her family history to make sure she's suitable for Pax."

Pax and Carmen's ice cream date
Pax and Carmen sparked dating rumors in late September or early October when they were seen on an ice cream date in Loz Feliz, California. The blonde girl was seen walking slightly ahead of Pax, 19, who was carrying two paper bowls of the dessert, in photos obtained by The Sun.
Pax was dressed in tan pants and sneakers, a black baseball cap, and a white t-shirt. The Netflix star, on the other hand, wore her straight hair down along with a black unitard and white sneakers for a laid-back look.
According to reports, Pax got into the driver's seat after their outing, while Carmen went to the back seat of the same car.
Carmen played young Violet in a 2011 'American Horror Story' episode. Following that, she starred in her father Mark Blanchard's 2019 film 'A World Away' and the short film 'Trusting Hope'. Her sister, actress Rowan Blanchard, is most known for her work on the Disney Channel series 'Girl Meets World'.
