Ben Affleck looked like a 'guy going through the motions' next to his wife Jennifer Lopez, a body language expert claimed
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala with his wife Jennifer Lopez on Saturday night, November 4.
The A-list pair posed for photos together at the event, which was also attended by Keanu Reeves, Kim Kardashian, and Salma Hayek Pinault.

But according to a body language expert, the 51-year-old actor did not look enthusiastic for the yearly gala, showing a completely opposite look from his "besotted bride."
The ‘On The Floor’ singer graced the event in a nude Gucci gown while Affleck donned a black Gucci tuxedo.
Ben Affleck ‘dislikes red carpet performances’
Commenting on their body language, Judi James told The Mirror, “For a man with his own stellar Hollywood career who has married one of the biggest stars in the music world, Ben Affleck’s body language always seems to suggest complex emotions during his PDAs and a dislike of red carpet performances.”

She continued, “Here he looks like a guy going through the motions and this time even the normally pitch-perfect Jen looks a little serious.”
“Ben stands with his feet splayed and his chest puffed, gazing out into the distance as though thinking of something – anything - else apart from jumping through hoops to perform for the cameras,” James pointed out.
‘His facial expression looks rigid’
Going into details, the writer said, “His facial expression looks rigid and unsmiling but when he does look down at his wife and finally cracks a smile it is a fake-looking teeth-baring gesture that looks like he’s going through the motions rather than a warm, congruent smile of pleasure.”
“Part of the problem with these poses is that Jen seems to be mirroring her husband’s level of effort here, rather than working the poses to create her normal look of a besotted bride,” she stated.
James then mentioned, “Her facial expression is equally unsmiling in some poses and when she does turn her head to use eye contact with Ben, her smile lacks the normal besotted beaming, and adoring eye expression.”
She also noted that Lopez “shoved one leg out of the split in her dress to add a little sexuality but these are not the actively passionate, adoring, and oozing signals that we expect from Jen when she’s posing alongside Ben.”
“He seems to have a short fuse when it comes to press photo-calls or being papped and there are clues recently that Jen might be catching his mood,” James added.
