Britney Spears promises fans she is dancing with 'fake knives'

Asghari's red carpet appearance came shortly after Britney uploaded another video of herself dancing with kitchen knives.

The 41-year-old pop singer insisted once more that the razor-sharp blades are fake and claimed that her team rented them from the Hand Prop Room in Los Angeles in the caption of her Instagram post.

She caused alarm earlier this week when she posted a troubling video of herself performing a dizzying dance while holding knives.

She wrote, referring to the concern expressed by her many fans, "I know I spooked everyone with the last post, But these are fake knives that my team rented from the Hand Prop shop in LA. These are not real knives."

Britney Spears asks fans to not 'call the police'

She claimed that "no one needs to worry or call the police" in reference to the authorities' visit to her home earlier in the day on a welfare check after she posted the disturbing video.

She assured her 42.1 million fans that she was "trying to imitate one of my favorite performers" once more.

She claimed that Shakira's knife dance at the MTV Video Music Awards in September was "a performance I was inspired by," and she was imitating it.

The 'Toxic' song singer continued, "Cheers to us bad girls who aren't afraid to push boundaries and take risks."

She was seen posing for the camera in a hot pink bikini bottom and modeling a white crop top with long, puffy sleeves.

She was sporting an unkempt, half-up, half-down hairdo with pinned honey-blonde beach waves. She was dancing barefoot in the foyer of her mansion while wearing a black choker.

She didn't seem to be wearing a bandage on her arm or have a cut on her leg as she did in the since-deleted video posted after her first knife dance in her second 'knife-dance' video.
