Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari apparently 'interested in his career, not dating' amid 'flirting' rumors
Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari recently attended an event packed with 'very wealthy women'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sam Asghari, Britney Spears' estranged husband, was apparently seen "mingling with women" at a posh event on the same day as the pop star's police wellness check. This was after there was growing anxiety over her recent social media posts where she danced with 'fake' knives.
However, reports reveal that Asghari was at the event for "strictly business" reasons.
According to a source close to Asghari, "He is interested in his career, not dating," dispelling rumors that he was making overtures to any of the female attendees, as reported by RadarOnline.

One source told Page Six, "It was a feeding frenzy for a single guy."
The outlet further claimed that the extravagant event was "dominated by female donors" and packed with "very wealthy women," who allegedly gushed about Asghari by saying things like, "He is amazing."
Despite all the alleged attention, the source added that the rumors of Asghari flirting with women at the event are untrue.
According to the source, Asghari was only concerned with his career and was, at the time, thinking about his assignment, to present an award at the Daytime Beauty Awards on Sunday, October 8.

It's interesting to note that on the day of the VIP event, police also visited Britney Spears' house after a person with knowledge of the pop star voiced concerns in response to a video the singer shared in which she danced with knives.
Spears claimed her team borrowed them from the Hand Prop store in Los Angeles and that they were "fake."
The singer wrote in a caption to address the controversy, "These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I'm trying to imitate one of my favorite performers, Shakira … a performance I was inspired by."
Apparently, according to law enforcement, a member of the LAPD Smart Team, which conducts mental evaluations, made the initial call for the welfare check.
Meanwhile, reports have disclosed the explosive divorce petition filed by Asghari that states that the parties divorced on July 28, 2023, and outlines Asghari's intentions to challenge the prenuptial agreement he signed prior to getting married.

Captain Dean Worthy visited Britney Spear's house
After their recent visit to her home, Captain Dean Worthy of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office stated that "there is no criminal activity so we're not going to force ourselves inside the home if there is no crime."
He adds, "Being a danger to oneself isn't a crime. I think we did our due diligence by going and responding and speaking to two people who are close with her who satisfactorily told us she's fine."
