Britney Spears shades ex Kevin Federline for taking his rap career 'so seriously' and neglecting marriage
In her upcoming book 'The Woman in Me', Britney Spears expressed her wish for Federline to be more involved in their marriage

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In her upcoming memoir 'The Woman in Me', Britney Spears has shaded ex-husband Kevin Federline over his unsuccessful rap career.
The pop star subtly poked fun at Federline, who released an album under the name K-Fed, for taking his musical dreams "so seriously", apparently writing, "Bless his heart."

Kevin Federline was a former backup dancer
Federline, a former backup dancer for her famous ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, and Spears met in a Hollywood club in 2004. After a two-month engagement, the couple married, as reported by RadarOnline.
Despite becoming a household name with Spears, K-Fed's debut album, 'Playing with Fire', was poorly received by critics when it was released in 2006.
One review stated, "Other rappers might hesitate to brag about marrying into bling, but Federline isn't self-conscious about it."
Rolling Stone wrote about his album's debut, "Federline's rhyme flow is the opposite of tight."
Another review from NOW Magazine reads, "His flow is generic and instantly forgettable and his lyrics are trite, inconsequential and full of self-importance."
Britney Spears feels people 'doubted' Kevin Federline

Us Weekly reported that Spears writes in her book that she expressed her wish for Federline to be more involved in their marriage, pointing out that people seemed to be "doubting" his star power in the industry.
After just over two years of marriage, the 'Circus' hitmaker filed for divorce on November 6, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences. It was completed in July of the following year.
Spears has previously discussed their short-lived romance. During her 2008 MTV documentary, she admitted, "Instead of following my heart and, like, doing something that made me really happy. I just did it because … for just, like, the idea of everything."
Brintney Spears boys grew close to Kevin Federline

K-Fed has claimed their sons had grown closer to him in recent years, had not seen their mother in months, and did not attend her June 2022 wedding to now-estranged husband Sam Asghari.
Despite Federline's request to relocate to Hawaii with their sons, Spears consistently said that she loves her boys and wants nothing more than for them to be happy.
The singer "consented" to Jayden James, 16, and Sean Preston, 17, moving to Hawaii with their father, according to information released in May, Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told PEOPLE.
