LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Stranger Things’ fame Noah Schnapp has been called out after he shared his thoughts about the Hamas attack on Israel in a social media post.

The Palestinian militant group reportedly launched a war on the Middle Eastern country last Saturday, October 7, killing over 1000 Israelis.

Like many celebrities, Schnapp also slammed the brutality but in return received mostly hate from online users.

What did Noah Schnapp say?

‘The Tutor’ star took to Instagram and shared, “As a Jewish American, I am afraid. Afraid for my brothers and sisters in Israel, who have been senselessly attacked by Hamas.”

He continued, “I am truly heartbroken to see the brutal murders of innocent children, women, and soldiers fighting to defend themselves. I, like others, want peace for both Palestinians and Israelis. Let’s stop the rhetoric and choosing sides."

“Instead we must recognize that we are all on the side of the fight against terrorism," he urged. "Choose humanity over violence.”

In his social media share, Schnapp also noted, “You don’t have to be Jewish, you don’t have to be Israeli, you just have to have empathy and common sense to know that THIS is wrong.”

He further stated, “I hope we can agree that Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization: they don’t represent the Palestinian people when they value murdering Israelis more than protecting their own.”

“You either stand with Israel or you stand with terrorism. It shouldn’t be a difficult choice. Shame on you,” the 19-year-old added.

But his take on the issue did not go down well with many on the internet.

‘Go to hell, Noah Schnapp’

A user fired back, “While Palestinian celebrities have to carefully word every support they have for their homeland we have Noah Schnapp telling people that if they don’t stand for ethnic cleansing and colonialism that they stand for terrorism. Go to hell @noah_schnapp.”

Another user tweeted, “Jamie Lee Curtis posting a pic of children from Gaza looking up at Israeli bombs, but thought it was Israeli children Justin Bieber posting a pic of bombed Gaza, thinking it was Israel Noah Schnapp calling all Palestinians terrorists Can American celebs shut up please.”

A third wrote, “Noah schnapp saying ‘let's not choose sides’ then in the same post saying ‘you either stand with Israel or stand with terrorism’ bitch go f*** yourself.”

Another said, “'As an American jew' you must be born a stupid f**king bitch noah schnapp bcs what does being Jewish have to do with people who are being held against their will with no food, water, or electricity based on just the fact that they're Palestinian?”

“Noah Schnapp writing about being afraid while laying on his expensive bed in NYC like he's actually facing any danger at the moment,” someone added.
