Cher and Madonna feud 'reignited' after she plays clip of singer calling her 'mean' on Celebration tour
'I called her something so much worse, and she forgave me,' the 77-year-old singer shared

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cher has reportedly heated up the “feud” that she has had with Madonna over the years.
The 77-year-old music legend mocked Madonna after she included an old clip of her criticizing the ‘Material Girl’ singer during her Celebration tour, RadarOnline.com reported.
In a 1991 interview, Cher reportedly slammed Madonna by referring to her as “mean” and “c**t”.

‘I said a lot worse than that’
However, recently when The Los Angeles Times asked the ‘Burlesque’ actress if she saw the footage “from an old interview of yours where you said that she’s mean,” she replied, “I said a lot worse than that.”
Cher was asked to elaborate further on the “beef” but she stated, “It’s not a beef. I actually like her. But come on.”

However, the interviewer was not ready to let it go easily as they questioned, “You’re saying she’s mean?”
The ‘Moonstruck’ star answered, “She can be. We buried that hatchet a long time ago because I called her something so much worse, and she forgave me.”
She continued, “But I give her this: There’s no one like her that had their ear to the ground and knew everything before anybody else.”

“I mean, she knew what was coming, and she was right on it. I always felt that was her greatest gift — that she could know the trends before any of us,” Cher added.
‘Well, she's not wrong’
Meanwhile, the years-old interview of Cher has resurfaced on the internet, attracting a lot of attention.

So, I think it's important to acknowledge that others in the business have talked about Madonna's attitude early in her career. I love it about her. But it's also clear she came off as arrogant. @cher & @Madonna are legends, and they deserve EVERYTHING.

Being a huge huge huge fan of Madonna I have to say Cher is speaking her mind and not at all in a bad way. Madonna was exceedingly arrogant and very full of herself around this time. But I am a die hard Madge fan and this is better than other things Cher has said about her on cam
