Child star Austin Majors spent final hours in transitional housing as he died of fentanyl overdose

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'NYPD Blue' child actor Austin Majors was reportedly staying in a transitional housing unit when he lost his life because of an accidental fentanyl overdose.
At the site of his death, two rolled-up dollar bills and a shot glass with white powder residue along with foil with a white crystal-like powder and pills were discovered by the cops, TMZ reported.
The publication citing the coroner's report said that the housing’s security “did a bed check around 9:30 PM on February 11” but Majors did not respond.
The security then went in for further inspection and found the unresponsive 27-year-old.
TMZ quoting the official paper also added that the late star received “food hours earlier as he walked around the facility.”
What did Austin Majors’ family say?
Following Majors’ death in February, a statement was released by his family that remembered him as "a loving, artistic, brilliant, and kind human being”.
The statement reportedly noted, “Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career. He was an active Eagle Scout and graduated Salutatorian in High School.
“He went on to graduate from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a passion for directing and music producing.”
It continued, “Austin’s younger sister, Kali, says her fondest memories with Austin were growing up on set with him, volunteering at events with ‘Kids With a Cause’, and backpacking together.”
“Austin was the kind of son, brother, grandson, and nephew that made us proud and we will miss him deeply forever,” the ‘An Accidental Christmas’ star’s family added.
Austin Majors remembered as ‘a great actor’
Meanwhile, a lot of people have reacted online over Majors’ death and the subsequent findings.
