“He is a relatively private person and was just getting to a point where people may have started to move on, but now it is back in the limelight, and it's just frustrating that everything is coming back to the forefront.”
“Chris is over it and would actually love for her to keep his name out of her damn mouth,” the insider added.
The 'Girls Trip' actress earlier reportedly disclosed that Rock called her and asked her out before the Oscars slapgate scandal.
She said, "Basically he was like, 'I'd love to take you out.' And I was like, 'What do you mean?' He was like, 'Well, aren't you and Will getting a divorce?' I was like, 'No, Chris, those are just rumors.'"
"He was appalled. And he profusely apologized and that was that," she asserted.

Even during the infamous slap incident that happened during the 94th Academy Awards on March 27, 2022, the two weren’t together despite 'The Pursuit of Happiness' star calling her his "wife".
But Jada believes the late rapper Tupac Shakur was her "soulmate".
The actress reportedly said, “A soulmate, yeah,” before mentioning, “If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think Pac and I have traveled a few together. You know, in various forms.”
But the mother-of-two also pointed out that they never hooked up because “it just wasn't possible.”
“There was no chemistry between us. I talk about it in the book, you know. … It’s that friendship-love chemistry, trust me,” Jada said while referring to her book, ‘Worthy’, which will go out on shelves on October 17.

The 52-year-old added, “It was like God made us that way. It was like, look, I'm going to put y'all together, right? Y'all are going to be a dynamic duo. But I'm going to tell you right now, I'm going to make it so y'all are not going to be able to get together, 'cause that just wasn't the purpose.”
