Dave Portnoy accuses NFL of 'simping' for Taylor Swift amid Jets vs Chiefs game
When the first touchdown of the game was scored, the cameras immediately panned to Taylor Swift in the stands, drawing criticism from football fans

EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY: Dave Portnoy claims that during the Jets vs Chiefs game on Sunday night, the NFL 'simped' for Taylor Swift.
Swift made the news again after going to a Kansas City game for the second time in a week to watch her new beau, Travis Kelce, play at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Taylor Swift was spotted with her girl gang
As Kelce and the Chiefs battled back to defeat the Jets 23-20, NBC's coverage frequently featured the pop superstar watching from her suite at the game, where she was seated next to friends Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner.
When the first touchdown of the game was scored, the cameras immediately panned to Swift in the stands, drawing criticism from some ardent football fans who took to social media to complain.
Along with adding lyrics from Swift's 2008 song 'The Best Day' to their bio, the NFL also stirred up controversy by changing their header on X, formerly Twitter, to three pictures of Swift at MetLife.
Portnoy, the creator of the sports blog website Barstool Sports, also voiced his disapproval of the commotion surrounding Swift at the game on Sunday.

He wrote on X, "This is nuts. The NFL is simping for Taylor." Later, Portnoy complained that Swift is causing havoc on Sunday Night Football, writing, "There is almost too much stuff going on for a Swiftie, a football fan and somebody who bet 25k on chiefs and has Kelce on my fantasy team."

Dave Portnoy mocks Blake Lively
The 46-year-old also made fun of Lively, who was seen jumping around in celebration with Swift when the Chiefs scored that night. He wrote, "Blake Lively out here cheering for the Chiefs like she grew up in Overland Park Missouri."
As he observed the game from the stands, he also wrote about the Jets' injured quarterback: "It's tough to tell which suite is having more fun tonight? @AaronRodgers12 vs @taylorswift13."

Swift has been tight-lipped about her romance with Kelce, but she was seen leaning across to her actress friend Lively during the game and whispering, "Look at him."
Swift and Kelce are believed to have left the stadium separately after the game, with the NFL tight end remaining with his teammates and boarding the Chiefs bus, as reported by Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Taylor went to New York City's private members' club Zero Bond, where she partied until the early morning.
