On October 28, the 54-year-old actor, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the sitcom, died suddenly at home after what appeared to be a drowning.

The actor had been upfront about his struggles with alcoholism and drug abuse, but according to authorities, there were no illegal narcotics discovered at his Pacific Palisades house, and there was no suspicion of foul play.

However, several prescription drug bottles were discovered at the residence.

"Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courtney [Cox] are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely," a source told the outlet.

"It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the one-year anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner," the source continued about the 'Morning Show' actress. "She still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet."

"She is trying to regroup and recover but it’s been a completely devastating blow," the insider added.

'Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing', Perry's 2022 memoir describing his protracted battle with addiction and how his colon "exploded" after years of opiate usage and almost claimed his life in 2018, also mentioned his friendship with Aniston.

He remembered Aniston confronting him about his drug usage while he was working on their popular show. He even commended her for it.

"She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I’m really grateful to her for that," Perry said to Diane Sawyer during a conversation about his best-seller in October 2022.

Insiders claim that although Aniston and the remaining cast members attended the private funeral, the group did not visit Perry's family and close friends at the grave.
