LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amber Heard was reportedly heavily disliked by Elon Musk’s family and friends, who found her “toxic” and saw her as a person who “thrives on destabilizing everything.”

The bombshell revelations have been made in a biography written by Walter Isaacson on the Tesla founder. The author has mentioned in his book ‘Elon Musk’ that the entrepreneur's relationship with the actress was a “dark vortex,” the Daily Mail reported.

‘It was brutal’

Isaacson also noted in the book, “Most of his [Musk] relationships involve psychological turmoil.”

“The most agonizing of them all was with the actress Amber Heard who drew him into a dark vortex that lasted more than a year and produced deep-seated pain that lingers to this day. It was brutal,” he asserted in the biography.

When did Amber Heard and Elon Musk begin dating?

It has been said that the two first met each other in 2012 when Musk became a consultant for the film, ‘Machete Kills’.

Isaacson’s biography cited Heard saying, “I guess I could be called a geek for someone who can also be called a hot chick."

The two reportedly met again during the 2016 Met Gala in New York. At the time, the ‘Aquaman’ actress was in the process of divorcing Johnny Depp.

Heard and Musk apparently became very close by 2017 and as per the book by Isaacson, “Her playfulness, however, was accompanied by the type of turmoil that attracted Musk.”

It added, “His brother and friends hated her with a passion that made their distaste for Justine (Musk's first wife) pale.”

‘She was like the Joker in Batman’

Musk's brother Kimbal has been quoted in the book, saying, “She was just so toxic.”

He pointed, “She really is a very good actress so she will say things that you're like, 'Wow, maybe she's telling you the truth,' but she isn't. The way she can create her own reality reminds me of my dad.”

Needless to say, Kimbal was relieved when Heard was no longer in the picture. In the book, he states that it's "really sad" that his brother "falls in love with these people who are really mean to him."

"They're beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side and Elon knows that they're toxic," the book quotes Kimbal as saying.

The business magnate’s chief of staff Sam Teller also shared his impression of Amber Heard when Musk got close to her. “She was like the Joker in Batman. She didn't have a goal or aim other than chaos. She thrives on destabilizing everything.”

Teller added, “She and Musk would stay up all night fighting and then he would not be able to get up until the afternoon."

Reportedly, at the time, Musk would appear in a 'comatose' state during meetings with investors and repeatedly asked to be alone in a room with the lights off, as per Daily Mail.

However, eventually, Heard and Musk broke up. About that time, Isaacson quoted Musk as saying, “That was the time of the most concentrated pain I've ever had. 18 months of unrelenting insanity. It was mind-bogglingly painful.”
