LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In addition to surprising fans by posing with Kris Jenner, Mariah Carey also shocked people by appearing significantly different from her usual self in a photo she shared on Instagram on Saturday, October 28.

The momager, 67, captioned the snapshot, "Dinner with my girl @mariahcarey catching up and trying to convince her 'it's time'!!!!!🎅🏼🎄glam on both of us @etienneortega."

Fans say 'Mariah looks a lil different'

A number of fans expressed shock at the singer's appearance. A user wrote, "I thought that was Snooki at first 🤷‍♀️," referring to 'Jersey Shore' star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, while another said, "Mariah looks a lil different😮."

A third person added, "This will be removed. It's not Mariah's good side. She's gonna be p--------," while a fourth said, "Wow filter central."

Other fans, particularly those who were aware that Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon once dated Jenner's daughter Kim Kardashian, adored the two women together.

One person wrote, "Y'all came a long way because Mariah and Kim both dated Nick," while another added, "A powerful duo 👯‍♀️." A third person simply stated: "Gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."

The 54-year-old 'Hero' singer has sported a variety of looks before. In June 2022, Carey shared videos and images from the anniversary of the 1990 release of her album 'Mariah Carey', as reported by OK Magazine.

The mother of two has always taken a strong stand against aging. She previously said, "I don't count years but I definitely rebuke them … I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life, darling."

So, my goal is to wear the least amount of makeup possible so I don’t have to steam my face and take it all off."

She admitted, “I do [have bad hair days], and then I have to apply my 500 hours of beauty school. If it’s really bad, I’ll just slick it back and put it in a bun.”
