Heidi Klum married Seal ‘eight times’ after instant attraction but is now happy with much younger husband

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Heidi Klum is a world-famous personality, who has made her name in modeling and hosting as well as in business.

Apart from that, the 50-year-old is also a family person, who believes in love, marriage, and kids.

Klum’s current husband is guitarist Tom Kaulitz with whom she exchanged vows in 2019. However, the producer was earlier married to British musician Seal.

Heidi Klum found Seal ‘a very handsome man’

The television personality was reportedly awestruck when she saw Seal for the very first time. She told Oprah.com, “I met him in a hotel lobby in New York City, and he came in just from the gym.”

“I was sitting there and I was like, 'Wow, he's a very handsome man.’ I was physically, straightaway attracted to him, and then we got talking, and I was like, 'Wow, he's such a warm and charming man.’” Klum continued.

The former couple eventually fell in love and their love reportedly grew when Seal saw Klum’s baby bump. At the time, she was pregnant with her first child, Leni Olumi Klum, who she shares with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.

“We hadn't seen each other for about a month and a half, and I came to New York. She came to meet me at the hotel room, and this time when I saw her, she had this bump,” the 60-year-old record producer shared.

He also added, “I think it was at that point when I saw her with a stomach, that's when I knew. Of course, we were in love before that, but that [was the] defining moment.”

Klum and Seal said “I do” to each other in 2005 and went on to welcome three children together — Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, and Lou Sulola Samuel.

The ex-pair celebrated their wedding anniversaries in a unique way.

They exchanged vows on their every anniversary. Seal reportedly disclosed, “We do the ceremony again every year. It just keeps you focused. It reminds you why you got married—not that we need any reminding.”

But unfortunately, their marriage did not last, and in 2014, they got divorced.

At the time, Klum reportedly stated, “I think I got married eight times to Seal. I thought it would be kind of, like, fun. I thought it would be a fest of love...I tried, you can't say I didn't try!”

Also, a joint statement read, “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal, and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.”

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition,” they added.

Heidi Klum is now happily married to Kaulitz

Klum has found love again in Kaulitz, 34. They got married in 2019 despite all the controversies surrounding their age gap.

In 2020, Klum told PEOPLE, “For the first time, I have a partner who I can discuss everything with. Someone who shares duties that we all have in our life.”

“I used to be on my own with everything. For the first time, I get to experience what it is actually like to have a partner,” she added.
