Hugh Jackman looks content as he walks alone in rain amid split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Hugh Jackman has reportedly been going through a tough time as he and Deborra-Lee Furness have separated.

But the actor was seen soaking in nature on Sunday, September 24, in a New York City park as he tried to navigate single life.

The ‘Deadpool 3’ star shared a few photos of his outing on Instagram and wrote, “Sunday morning walk in the rain … heaven (and muddy)!”

Two photos from the slide showed him smiling while the other pictures were of his surroundings.

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness said 'I do' in 1996

‘The Wolverine’ star and Furness tied the knot 27 years ago. The pair also share two children together — Oscar Maximilian Jackman and Ava Eliot Jackman.

However, they recently declared their split via a joint statement.

The ex-couple reportedly said, “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage."

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness,” they explained.

“We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition. This is the sole statement either of us will make,” they added.
