Melissa Gilbert on Landon's 'remarkable legacy’
This is not the first time Gilbert has fondly remembered her on-screen dad, who died in July 1991.
In July 2021, she said, “Today marks the 30th anniversary of the passing of this extraordinary man. He touched so many lives with his talent, humor, integrity, compassion, and heart.”
The former president of the Screen Actors Guild also added, “What a remarkable legacy he created, not only through is beautiful work, but through his beautiful family.”
