LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears says she and Colin Farrell were "all over each other" during their brief two-week romance, but she wasn't over Justin Timberlake yet.
The 41-year-old hitmaker from 'Circus' and the 47-year-old actor from 'Phone Booth' had a brief romantic relationship in 2003, but the actor insisted it was only a friendship when they showed up at a movie premiere together.
Britney was 'devastated' after split with Timberlake
Britney has now revealed their tryst in her memoir 'The Woman In Me'. Even though she and Colin had a strong passion and the pop star once believed they could be together in the future, she was still devastated by the breakup with the 42-year-old Justin and felt "vulnerable," as reported by Aceshowbiz.
She added, "As I had before when I'd felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn't over Justin yet."
Britney admitted, "The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time."
Britney and Colin Farrell: Passionate like a 'street fight'
She described their romance as a "brawl," saying, "Brawl is the only word for it - we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight," in an excerpt from the book.
Timberlake cheated on Spears with Nicole Appleton
In the shocking book, Britney also claims that after splitting up with Justin in 2002, they started accusing each other of infidelity. She accuses Justin of cheating on her with two well-known women, one of whom is allegedly Nicole Appleton of All Saints.
Spears admits she 'loved' Timberlake
The mother of two, whose husband Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce from her in August, further stated that she had an abortion while she was dating Justin because he didn't want to be a father at the time.
She said, "I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
