The director of 'Don't Worry Darling' faced harsh criticism for her post about the tabloid-grabbing romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Still, Wilde quickly clarified that her reposted statement was not intended to be hostile.

Wilde posted a screenshot of a tweet to her Instagram Story last week that read, "I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist," and the pop icon's legions of fans were not pleased.
Olivia Wilde issues clarification
On Sunday, October 15, as she was leaving the Studio City farmer's market, the former OC star told photographers, "I meant no harm. It's obviously a comment on how much attention gets paid to stupid things," as reported by Okmagazine.
Wilde may have wanted to avoid this topic because she and her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles were the talk of the town not long ago before their split in 2022.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appear to be happier than ever
While their new romance keeps people on the edge of their seats, Swift and the NFL player appear to be happier than ever.
