LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears revealed details about her previous parenting struggles during a comedic skit. The 'Toxic' singer posted a video to Instagram with the caption, "Visiting Our Kids' Future House #Payback."

The parents in the video playfully misbehaved at their children's homes, leaving backpacks and coats on the floor by the door, leaving trash in their rooms, and scribbling on walls.

Spears' relationship with her sons has been strained for a while. Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, the boys she shares with Kevin Federline, made the decision to drastically reduce their contact with her last year. They stopped visiting her, and they skipped her June 2022 wedding to her ex-boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Britney Spears was 'very sad' when children distanced themselves

Kevin Federline requested permission earlier this year to relocate the boys permanently to Hawaii after his wife, Victoria Prince, accepted a job there. Britney didn't object, but a source said she was "very sad" that the teens didn't want to spend time with her in person before moving.

The source said at the time, "She feels awful about it, it is a big hole in her heart, She is a mother of two boys and she never sees them, I think any mother would be heartbroken over that," as reported by OK Magazine.

However, according to a separate source, the boys made the decision in order to have a "quiet, seamless move and avoid the drama that would have happened face-to-face."
