Jamie Foxx's friends fear he's rushing into marriage with GF after being reminded of 'his own mortality'

LOS ANGELES, CALFORNIA: Infatuated Jamie Foxx has developed a strong love for girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, but friends were worried that the lifelong bachelor is moving too quickly, according to RadarOnline.com.

According to insiders, Foxx was prepared to buy a ring and marry Huckstepp despite the actor's close friends' worries that he was committing a grave error.

According to sources, Foxx's mysterious health crisis reportedly changed his perspective on "his own mortality" and led him to reconsider marriage, as reported by RadarOnline.

The insider told the National Enquirer, "Nearly dying has really woken him up to his own mortality, Now he's very aware it could all end in an instant."

In April, while filming in Atlanta, Georgia, Foxx was admitted to the hospital. The 'Ray' star received additional rehabilitation treatment at a facility in Chicago after a few weeks in intensive care.

Although Foxx's family claimed the health scare was caused by a "medical complication," speculation that Foxx had actually had a stroke was raised.

After the actor's incredible recovery, friends were concerned that he was still shaken up about the health scare and only wanted to get married to Huckstepp because she is his current partner.

The insider continued, "He's started saying he wants to settle down. It's freaking out everyone in his life. They're worried he's going to marry Alyce just because she's the one he happens to be with now."

The 'Django Unchained' actor recently traveled with his much younger sweetheart to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. According to sources, Huckstepp was the unidentified blonde Foxx was seen in Cannes last May.

Foxx broke his usual dating routine when he heard wedding bells while dating Huckstepp. Foxx dated actress Katie Holmes for six years, but their 2019 breakup was reportedly influenced by Foxx's aversion to marriage.

The insider added, "Now he's gung-ho about making Alyce his wife and people think he's being impetuous."

The source's remarks echoed those of the actor's other close friends, who said that he "hasn't seemed" like himself ever since his health scare.

Friends rushed to defend Foxx after the actor posted an unusual Instagram message in which he stated, "They killed this dude name Jesus ... what do you think they'll do to you???!"

The out-of-character remark prompted accusations of antisemitism because it seemed to support the worrying notion that Jews killed Jesus, whom Romans crucified, and that this notion is spreading among some people.

After Foxx received backlash online, his close pal said, "Jamie nearly died and hasn't seemed himself ever since, He seems like a different guy since he got out of the hospital — and this is the worst example yet."
