Jessica Biel joins Justin Timberlake on red carpet in first public show of support since Britney Spears' memoir

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Following the publication of Britney Spears' memoir 'The Woman in Me', Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel made their first significant public appearance on Wednesday.

The 42-year-old singer-actor and the 41-year-old actress put on a united front by holding hands at a Los Angeles film screening for his new project 'Trolls: Band Together'.

The singer of 'SexyBack' and his partner, who have two sons, Phineas, three, and Silas, eight, matched in all-black outfits on a rainy night in Southern California, as reported by Daily Mail.

The ten-time Grammy winner paired a black T-shirt, black dress shoes, and black slacks with a patterned black jacket. For the weeknight outing, he wore brown-lensed sunglasses with black frames and a necklace.

The actress from '7th Heaven' matched her husband's silk top and black skirt, which featured circular silver embellishments. She completed the look with black heels and dark panties.

This was the Emmy-nominated actress's first public appearance since the publication of Spears' book 'The Woman in Me'. She wore her light brown hair parted and tied back with hoop earrings.

Timberlake was in Cabo San Lucas during the controversy

During a fall vacation with Biel, 41, Timberlake was spotted in Cabo San Lucas last month, away from the controversy surrounding Spears' October 24 release of her book. He and his family were seen arriving there on October 30.

Last month marked the 11th wedding anniversary for the Memphis, Tennessee, native and his Ely, Minnesota-born spouse. They tied the knot at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Italy on October 19, 2012.

Spears made headlines when she revealed details about her relationship with the then-NSYNC lead singer from 1999 to 2002. She wrote in her memoir that she had an abortion after she became pregnant with his child.

Spears said in the fast-selling book, "It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated."

She added, "But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

She continued, "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father. To this day, it's one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."
