Kardashian and the housekeepers worked out a private settlement to put an end to their conflict.

Andrew Ramirez and six other workers filed a lawsuit against the reality star in Los Angeles Superior Court back in 2021, as reported by Radar Online.

Workers were denied benefits

The housekeepers claimed in their lawsuit that they were employed by Kardashian to work at her Hidden Hills, California, estate. The workers claimed that after being promised full-time positions with benefits, they were instead classified as independent contractors and denied benefits.

Kardashian refuted any responsibility for the state of affairs. She blamed the third-party company for any problems, claiming to have hired the team through them.

Kardashian was "not responsible for how the vendor manages their business and the agreements they have made directly with their staff," a representative for the celebrity said after the lawsuit was filed.

Kim hopes issue is finally resolved

Kardashian "hopes that the issue between these workers and the vendor who hired them can be amicably resolved soon," the representative said, adding that she had always paid the outside company.

Kardashian's attempts to have the case dropped were not successful. She and the housekeepers decided to postpone the planned trial in order to negotiate a settlement back in July.

"The Parties in this matter have entered into settlement discussions and have agreed to mediate this matter," the filing stated.

The court has now been informed that Kardashian, Ramirez, and the other defendants have "reached an agreement in principle to resolve this action."

Within sixty days, the housekeepers promised to file a dismissal of the action.

The housekeepers had criticized Kardashian for not submitting the necessary paperwork to the court, which led to an extremely heated legal battle. Her employees accused her of not doing the work herself, instead having her estate manager respond to inquiries on her behalf.

The staff even demanded that Kardashian face consequences for her actions at one point.

An ex-assistant to Khloe Kardashian, who had accused the reality star of being a nightmare boss, also recently dropped his lawsuit against her, as per reports.
