Kim Kardashian wants a partner 'more age appropriate' after romancing 13 years younger Pete Davidson

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian is reportedly not in a hurry to date. On a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians’, the 42-year-old media personality told her pals that she’s looking for a partner who is in her age bracket, as per PEOPLE.

She also said, “I need just a little more age-appropriate. I need [someone in their] 40's.”

Later in the show, the ex-wife of Kanye West revealed, “When you're single and all your friends are married, it's like you have desperation on your face and everyone under the sun wants to hook you up with someone.”

“I'm genuinely just okay with being by myself for a minute and the right situation will come my way,” she asserted.

Kim was last romantically involved with Pete Davidson, who is 13 years younger than her.

The two dated each other for almost a year before calling it quits. Their romance was filled with drama as West did not take their togetherness in a good spirit.

Kim believes in being ‘honest with yourself’

Kim and the ‘Donda’ singer were married from 2014 to 2022. 

After their separation, the KWK founder reportedly said, “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best.’ … No matter what you’re personally going through.”

“For so long, I did what made other people happy and I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. … I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s OK to choose you,” she added.

Kim Kardashian calls herself ‘a hopeless romantic’

In May of this year, the mother-of-four shared on the ‘On Purpose with Jay Shetty’ podcast, “I think I'll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone.”

“I definitely will take my time. And I think there's so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life,” she stated.

‘I'm just waiting for that person’

Besides, the businesswoman disclosed in a season 3 episode of ‘The Kardashians’ that “I have four kids, I'm in my 40s ... like, who's gonna wanna deal with the drams?”

“But my person is gonna be like, 'F--- all that. It's gonna be hard, but we're together and we're gonna do this.' So I'm just waiting for that person,” she added.
