Matthew Perry ‘wanted a wife and at least a couple of kids'
Perry had been romantically involved with multiple women over the years, including Julia Roberts, Lizzy Caplan, and Cameron Diaz.
He even got engaged to his talent manager Molly Hurwitz but none of his relationships ended in marriage despite his desire to have something like his mother Suzanne Perry and stepdad stepfather Keith Morrison share.
Citing a tipster, The Mirror reported, “Matthew always dreamed of having the perfect family.”

“He wanted a wife and at least a couple of kids. And he said he wouldn’t even mind marrying a woman who already had kids,” the source stated.
Women ‘were only interested in his money’
The insider further shared that “lately the 54-year-old star has been looking for love again. But a string of failed relationships left him feeling sad and depressed, and as if he would never find that love he longed for.”
The source also reportedly noted that though many women came into his life, “he always felt they were only interested in his money and his fame.”
“And he was generous to a fault. He would shower women with gifts only to have them pack up their goodies and walk away,” they said.
The tipster then added, “All Matt ever wanted was to be happy. But he was always looking for love and happiness in all the wrong places. How sad that when he died he was reportedly alone.”
Matthew Perry was 'fatigued' in days before death
Meanwhile, following Perry’s death, his friend Billy Bush made a shocking revelation about him.

He shared on his Instagram, “Lately his greatest joy was the game of #pickleball (he didn’t like the name but he LOVED the game). He played every day and sometimes twice.”
“It regulated his days. I spoke to the woman he played with this morning and every morning. She is in shock, adored Matt…she said he had been fatigued today and over the past week,” the radio host disclosed.
He also added, “A little more than usual. He played for one hour then went home”
