Mother unexpectedly delivers her child in a gas station bathroom: “I couldn’t believe it...”

Sergio Mancera and Kaitlyn Fullerton, a couple from Texas had their baby in a gas station. The 22-year-old mother delivered the baby herself. Speaking on the Kelly Clarkson Show the couple said that they were driving home from Victoria and Houston when this beautiful incident happened.

At the time, Fullerton was over a week from her due date. On their way during the drive, the couple made a pit stop at the gas station when Fullerton felt this sudden urge to go to the toilet. She recalled, "We got further along the road and I felt like I needed to start pushing. Well, I thought I needed to go to the bathroom," per Daily Mail.

When she reached the bathroom stall, the need to push only increased. "I kept on said like a water pressure.... because [when] I stood up, my water broke." Just within ten minutes of entering the toilet, she gave birth to her second child, Callihan.

Fullerton said she began "praying" in the bathroom stall and was overheard by someone in the adjacent stall, who asked if she needed any help, reports Crafty Diply.

Fullerton requested her to contact 9-1-1 since she was in labor. That's when she felt a "drop". She felt her son's head pop out as she reached down. She went ahead to give birth to her son alone in that stall.

Her husband, Mancera, had no idea what was going on as he was sitting in a car outside with their 3-year-old son, Nikolai. However, Fullerton sent one of the women in the adjacent stall to inform him. The 24-year-old father said, "I was on my phone and 10 minutes later, a woman showed up and said, 'Hey, your wife just gave birth,' and I was like, 'What! Really?' I couldn't believe it."

Mancera captured the moment he spotted his wife in the bathroom stall on video. She clutched her kid in her arms, smiling, her shorts about her ankles and a towel over both of her arms.

Fullerton shared the video on TikTok writing, "When you think you can hold it, and give birth in a gas station." Since then, the video has received 19.4 million views. Fullerton and the newborn were taken to a nearby hospital for check-ups. The father compared this incident to "something you see in a movie."
