Oprah Winfrey celebrates different body types as she takes a stand against Ozempic
'Shouldn't we all just be more accepting of whatever body you choose to be in?' the talk show host remarked

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Oprah Winfrey believes that everybody is beautiful, despite being of different shapes and sizes.
The media proprietor has also said that taking weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, generically called semaglutide, which is quite popular among celebrities, is not a good idea.
Ozempic is reportedly recommended for people with type 2 diabetes.
Winfrey was in a panel discussion on ‘Oprah Daily The Life You Want Class: The State of Weight’ where she said, as per Aceshowbiz.com, “Shouldn't we all just be more accepting of whatever body you choose to be in?”

She continued, “That should be your choice,” before noting, “Even when I first started hearing about the weight loss drugs, at the same time I was going through knee surgery, and I felt, 'I've got to do this on my own.' Because if I take the drug, that's the easy way out.”
Oprah Winfrey focuses on physical activity and exercise
The 69-year-old talk show host shared, “It's how our bodies regulate weight and each of us is different, each of us is unique, not one is superior to another.
“We're just different and acting on those differences and treating the differences in the heterogeneity of the population is how we're going to actually make change in this disease.”
Winfrey then went on to mention the knee surgery she had last year. She said, “As I was rehabilitating, I started hiking.”

“Every day, I tried to hike more and do more. My appreciation for every organ and every limb has expanded exponentially. So, you mentioning that really brought that home to me,” the television producer added.

What do celebs have to say about Ozempic?
However, not everyone thinks like Winfrey as TV personality Golnesa Gharachedaghi said, as per PEOPLE, “When I started Semaglutide shots, I was 138 lbs. Now, I’m about 110 lbs. As you can see, I've lost a little more weight than I was anticipating to lose.
“I encourage it to anybody who’s having a hard time losing weight and wants the ‘easy route’. Summer’s around the corner," she asserted.
“I’m not trying to stress that being skinny is what you should do, but the truth is, some of y’all want to do it,” the 41-year-old added.
Comedian Tracy Morgan also reportedly shared, “I went and got a prescription, and I got Ozempic. And I ain't letting it go ... It cuts my appetite in half. Now I only eat half a bag of Doritos.”
