LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: P!nk has slammed a social media user for a tweet wishing her "happy birthday" while using a picture of the transgender comedian Eddie Izzard, who is 61, insinuating that she looked like Izzard.

The ‘So What’ singer turned 44 on September 8 and several of her fans wished her on her special day.

One social media user, however, wrote, “Happy birthday @Pink,” but inserted the much older Izzard’s picture in the birthday tweet, infuriating P!nk.

What did P!nk say?

The Grammy-winning star, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart, fired back saying, “Thank you so much. I just showed my 12-year-old daughter your post.”

She continued, “I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you, and I have no idea why you would go out of your way to be hateful. It was a good lesson in ignorance.”

The actress noted, “Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congrats. You’re no one.”

But P!nk was not done yet as in another tweet, she stated, “MOST IMPORTANTLY -what a wasted opportunity here."

She added, “There are so many pictures you could’ve chosen that were actually me that were worse than this picture, you nameless fucko. At least be creative next time dum dum.”

The ‘What About Us’ singer mentioned in another tweet, “I post these things to show the kids I know- my own kids as well, that we are all occasionally treated badly."

“I show them because they know me, and they know that my self-esteem does Not rely on the opinions of others," she explained.

She concluded, “Nor does it rely on how many tickets I sell. Good/bad. Whatever. I love Me. Now I shall Sleep really really Well. Night night.”

‘You’re such an example of a mother’

Many people replied below P!nk’s comments as a user said, “That's awesome. Your mental health should not rely on other people.” Another user tweeted, “You’re such an example of a mother. I’m so proud of you! ❤️”

The third one shared, “They hate ya 'cause that ain't ya. Keep doing what you're doing! :).” The fourth user added, “Hey @Pink we all think you’re gorgeous. Whoever posted that is probably a lonely miserable person who hasn’t had any meaningful accomplishments.”
