Dogs are hilarious. We may lovingly call them dumb, but they're far more intelligent than we give them credit for. Nevertheless, the antics they pull are hilarious. From chasing their tails to "apologizing" for tearing up the sofa cushions, they truly know how to make us bust a gut laughing. Including this pitbull whose reaction to getting her nails clipped will have you tearing up with joy. A reposted video shared on Twitter that has now gone viral, it captures the moment a dramatic pitbull tries to avoid the nail trimming her owner is trying to give her by "fainting" before even the first snip, reported the Daily Mail.

The video starts off with the owner commanding her dog to give her her paw. However, when the canine refuses to lift her paw, the owner decides to take matters into her own hands... literally. Though, when she picks up her dog's paw, the pitbull lets her.

However, just as the owner is about to trim the first nail, the pitbull begins her theatrics. She slowly topples over rigidly with all her paws in the air. As she lays there on her back with her legs stretched into the air, her owner is finally able to begin the task.

The short 56-second video exploded on the internet receiving 136,000 shares, according to the NY Post. People on social media immediately took to the platform to share their views on the hilarious video. “The Academy Award for best dramatic performance goes to…” a Twitter user wrote alongside the hilarious clip while another user tweeted, “That is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time..”

Some people even shared their own stories of a similar kind. One user said, "I had a greyhound who faked a limp on one leg forgot and switched to the other leg." Another user who spoke about her late cat said, "So adorable. I wish I had videotaped my Bailey when she was alive. She would meow like someone is killing her, and my clippers are like 12 inches away from her."
