"Kanye West is the god and the savior of the human race"- is what the Church of Yeezus believes in. There are quite a few who follow their own books, commandments, and religion.
“He who does not have the church as his mother does not have God as his father." -Augustine of Hippo
A church is a place where the holy spirit showers their blessings and Jesus guides us through a sin-free path. You think of a Church as a place where people pray Jesus and preach the Holy Bible- where everything is sacred and positive. Also, a church is synonymous with Christianity.
However, did you know about some churches that believe in worshipping other deities, humans or even no God at all? There are some who follow their own books, commandments, and religion. Sounds strange? The following 10 churches do not worship Jesus or follow the Bible to achieve enlightenment in life but follow an idea of their own.
1. Church Of The Latter-Day Dude
This church claims to be an independent and original religion that started after the Chinese philosophy of Taoism. Their beliefs and convictions are straightforward. They believe in leading a life without any stress and worry and preach "Life is short, so take it easy." The followers of this religion emphasize on taking one thing at a time and without getting bothered about any unnecessary problems.
The followers of this religion- be it any gender, are called "dudes" and the religion is called "Dudeism". This religion does not worship or believe in the existence of God, however it doesn't contest the idea of God's existence either.
The inception of this religion was for people who believed in religions but do not necessarily liked or were comfortable with the options other religions had. Dudeism allows people to worship or remove anything they want from the religion. It is more like an open religion and gives freedom to its followers to just be.
Not just that, the Church of the Latter-Day Dude has a list of the "Greatest Dudes in History" which are considered as the prophets.
Some of the names of eminent people who come under the "Greatest Dudes in History" are The Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Lao Tzu (the founder of Taoism), Heraclitus (the Greek philosopher who wrote that it was impossible to step in the same river twice) and Jesus Christ (who is said to have converted to Dudeism after realizing that the Romans and Pharisees were fascists).
The religion also has the fictional side where they have a list "dudes" like it has Snoopy, Charlie Brown’s pet dog from the Peanuts comic strip. For this religion, Snoopy is a prophet.
The church At Iglesia Maradoniana (“Church of Maradona”) worships the soccer player of Argentine, Diego Maradona. There Christmas Eve and New Year's fall on 29th October, a day before their God's birthday.
Not just their calendar, but even the dates have Maradona's age with DD which means (Despues de Diego) rather than Anno Domini (AD). To get baptized in the church, the new members have to score goals from their left fist, just like Maradona scored during the 1986 World Cup.
"Kanye West is the god and the savior of the human race"- is what the Church of Yeezus believes in. As one can deduce the reason behind the church's name- Yeezus is the nickname of Kanye West. Bizarre is the fact that Kanye West does not associate himself with the church.
Followers who follow Kanye are called Ye'ciples. Anyone who loves Kanye West can become a Ye'ciple, even if they have their own respective religions that they follow. There are Five Commandments that this church follows. They believe in expressing themselves, they believe in good humanity and spending money only on goods and services.

The creation of the Missionary Church of Kopimism was done by Swedish national Isaac Gerson who believed that sharing files is an act of kindness and appreciation towards its owner.
The whole act is for telling the creator that they are thankful to them for their files, instead of trying to get them arrested for infringing on a copyright.
