Extreme ways in which people try to stay thin

People go to extreme lengths to keep their weight in check but some of these methods can be really dangerous as well.

People go to extreme lengths to make sure they look slim and thin. They exercise, change their diets, and do practically anything which can help them look the way they want to. But some of these practices are not only weird, they are also dangerous. The methods should not be used unless specifically recommended by your doctor.

#1 Tongue Patch

This is one of the most dangerous practices and should be avoided completely. The practice had people sowing patches on their tongues making it extremely painful for them to eat solid food and they had no other option but to have a liquid diet. Irrespective of the results, the practice is extremely harmful for the body.

#2 The Master Cleanse

This diet involves drinking a mix of lemon juice, maple syrup, and pepper. The aim is to cleanse the body of all toxins but the results are not at all good and people end up suffering, with no tangible benefits.

#3 The Cabbage Soup Diet

The cabbage soup diet involves eating nothing but cabbage soup which could have less than half of the required calories. Needless to say, it does more harm as it leaves the body weak and devoid of the required nutrients.
