Are you a fan of ripped jeans? Here's what they are doing to your skin in the heat

We can't escape a tan thanks to the summer sun. Sometimes, we get the weirdest tan lines thanks to the clothes we wear! That's exactly why you should avoid wearing ripped jeans.

I hate ripped jeans. I hate ripped anything. Sure, it's considered fashionable and 'on trend' and everything, but honestly, ripped jeans are the worst. The worst part about this is that the ripped jeans trend is EVERYWHERE. There's no escaping it. Just the other day, I went to pick up a new pair of jeans and the only thing I could find were ripped jeans!

I did end up finding whole jeans in a forgotten corner of the store. I was curious to see if ripped jeans were cheaper than whole jeans. Turns out, they're priced slightly higher! Why not just buy normal jeans and then rip them? See, this is just one thing that frustrates me about ripped jeans. The other thing that baffles me is wondering if people who like wearing ripped jeans like having oddly-shaped tan lines all over their bodies. Here's what I'm talking about.

1. If you wear ripped jeans, you're going to end up with the weirdest tan lines

2. There's no telling what kind of pattern your jeans are making

3. Your skin is going to be burning and itchy

4. You're going to wonder how to get the tan off because it looks like you're wearing patterned tights even though you're not

5. Your thighs may look like a cat's been scratching it, but really, it's a bad sunburn

6. Pro tip: just wear sunblock because it's good for you. Case closed

7. Let's not forget the itch

8. I've heard of carpet burn but holy Lord this looks bad

9. Common sense isn't so common after all, eh?

10. This tan looks like someone smacked around this person's thighs

11. This burn looks so painful, I'm not sure how they put on any lotion

12. Can it get any worse than this?

13. Yes. Yes it can

14. If you're an outdoors person, just wear some sunscreen

15. For your own sake...
