ISRAEL: A terrified mother has asked for the public’s help in finding her daughter who was allegedly abducted by the Palestinian militant organization Hamas and paraded through the streets of Israel while only wearing her underwear.

Shani Louk, who is said to be in her 20s and is German, was reportedly kidnapped from the ‘Festival for Peace’ event she was attending near Kibbutz Urim. She was then stripped and paraded "unconscious in a car", her mother, Ricarda, claimed, as per BBC.

What did Shani Louk’s mother say?

Ricarda reportedly shared, “This morning my daughter Shani Louk, a German citizen who was with a tourist group in the south of Israel, was kidnapped by Palestinian Hamas."

“I was sent a video where I could clearly see my daughter unconscious in a car with Palestinians,” she added. “Please send any help or news. Thank you.”

Besides, the missing woman’s cousin Tom Weintraub Louk reportedly said, “We knew she was in the party. She didn't answer. We have some kind of hope. Hamas is responsible for her and the others.”

Outpouring of support for Shani Louk’s family

Ricarda’s video received a lot of supporting comments with a user saying, “Very tragic💔.” Another wrote, “Anyone who saw her in Gaza please contact @visegrad24.”

A third commented, “My heart goes out to Shani Louk's mother during this unimaginably difficult time. I hope that with the public's help, more information will come to light and bring some clarity to this heartbreaking situation. 🙏”

“The mother is so pitiful, there is no pain like what she has to endure right now,” someone else tweeted. Another stated, “As a mother, that’s heartbreaking to see your daughter in that horrible situation. #FeelTheImpact.”
