YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND: During Kate Middleton's visit to Hull on Thursday, October 5, a young boy found a cheeky way to grab the princess's attention.

The unexpected encounter between the wheelchair rugby player and the 41-year-old Princess of Wales occurred during her visit to the Allam Sports Centre.

Kate meets Disability Rugby League players

Kate eschewed her usual sharp suits in favor of a tracksuit when she went to East Yorkshire to meet the Disability Rugby League players and train with the World Cup-winning England wheelchair rugby team.

The mother of three was engaging in teammate conversation when a young boy inadvertently snuck behind her and tickled her waist.

The Princess was briefly alarmed before turning around to see a cheeky rugby player having some fun.

Kate smiled at the enthusiastic player and quickly shook his hand to introduce herself. The clip began with Kate shaking hands with a squad member and striking up a sweet conversation with him.

But a different participant quickly stole the show by yelling "boo!" and tickling the Princess's waist.

After getting over her initial shock, Kate quickly saw the humor in the situation and turned to shake the young man's hand while grinning broadly.

Internet says Kate Middleton handled the situation 'beautifully'

Netizens were impressed by how the princess dealt with the awkward situation. Someone wrote on X, "I think she handled that beautifully."

A different user penned, "Crikey she handled that very well! He’s getting a left right good night if he does that to me."

Another person wrote, "You knew she’s an angle the moment she handle like that." Someone else said, "She handled it quite well and it's something he'll never forget . He treated her like one of them which shows she could fit in anywhere, be it Royalty or the normal folks. She's so down to earth."

During the event, the royal experienced a number of entertaining moments, including the interaction with the boy.

She was also appropriately attired for the occasion: in contrast to recent trends, which have seen Kate choose elegant suits, this time she chose a navy Rugby League polo shirt, white tracksuit bottoms, and white sneakers, as reported by Daily Mail.

With perfectly styled hair and a pretty make-up look, Kate still brought the glamour despite her casual attire.

The royal joined in after getting to know the players and took part in a game despite still nursing a hand injury from trampolining with her children. Bandages covered her injured hand.
