'Starting to see a different side': Blake Shelton says Gwen Stefani has changed after living in Oklahoma

TISHOMINGO, OKLAHOMA: Blake Shelton has reportedly shared that a 'different side' of Gwen Stefani is being revealed after they began to live more in Oklahoma, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Shelton and the ‘Hollaback Girl’ singer have been married since 2021 and now spend more time in the countryside.

Blake Shelton does not think Gwen Stefani has ‘become this country girl’

The 47-year-old revealed, as reported by OK! Magazine, “I'm not going to say that she's become this country girl.”

He, however, mentioned, “But I just think we're starting to see a different side of Gwen.”

“I think country music has kind of given her the chance to show what an incredible vocalist she is and an incredible songwriter,” the 47-year-old singer stated.

‘My career needs you to record more music with me, Gwen’

Shelton also spoke about his thoughts on working with his better half. He said, “Oh my God, Gwen, yes, more music please! I need that. My career needs you to record more music with me, Gwen.”

‘Gwen is the perfect person to receive a star’

This comes after Stefani was honored at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

At the time, the ‘God’s Country’ singer reportedly said about his 54-year-old wife, “She wasn't like any other famous person I had ever met before.”

He continued, “It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost before anything else in the world. That was her No 1 job.”

Stefani is the mother of three sons - 17-year-old Kingston, 15-year-old Zuma, and Apollo, 9, whom she had with her former husband Gavin Rossdale.

‘God gave Gwen an extra scoop of it’

Shelton further said, “In my opinion, Gwen is the perfect person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame. From music, television, and movies to fashion and beauty.

“She was risen to the top over and over again with her unique style that has made the world fall in love with her — not as much as me though.”

“And then there's that one thing that no one could ever explain. It's that thing that she was born with that will make you stop and go, 'Wait. Who is that? What's her name? What does she do? Why do I love her already? What the hell?' That's the thing that God gives you and without question, God gave Gwen an extra scoop of it,” he asserted.

The ‘Nobody But You’ singer added, “You deserve this and I love you.”
