Sometimes a person can avoid making a bad decision simply because someone pushes them in the right direction at the correct moment. Some people might not be able to walk away from the wrong path even if they see the consequences. That’s when any kind of outside interference helps them make up their mind faster. This was the kind of intervention that a woman named Hadia posted about on X (formerly Twitter).

It all happened when she had gone out on a coffee date with a guy for the first time. As he left the table to use the washroom, she got a note. It came from a gay man next to their table who could not help but overhear parts of their conversation as per Scoop Upworthy. The alarm bells were going off in his head as he scribbled, "Too many red flags. Run. Be safe girl," on a piece of paper.

She felt safe at the time and did not feel the need to leave the date despite spotting some of the red flags. He was a fan of rapper Da Baby who has been embroiled in controversy for making some homophobic comments. He was also a fan of known sexist and ‘love guru’ Kevin Samuels, which was another major red flag.

Hadia’s followers on X also let her know about their thoughts in the comments below the tweet. “I can't help but wonder how bright red those flags were for a complete stranger notice AND write a warning note. Big yikes,” a user named @MissBleuFour wrote. “That is worth its weight in gold!! Others can see what we can't,” quipped another user called @Moon_River05. Safe to say that not many people were unhappy with what happened.

Everyone expects to have a good first date but sometimes it just doesn’t go as they have planned. It’s easy to let go without any regrets if two people don’t vibe right from the get-go. However, if things are going well and something untoward happens later in the date, things can be a bit embarrassing. That’s what happened to another woman according to BuzzFeed.

She had gone out with a junior who she considered cute and the two hit it off quite well. They were at his place and vibing while he was cooking up some spaghetti and pesto. Unfortunately, the dish had pine nuts and she had no idea she was allergic to it until that moment. Things went from bad to worse as she went into anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital.

"I was rushed to the hospital. My mom had to drive down, and I spent the night in the ER. The police even got involved and interviewed me to see if there was any possibility of malice on the side of my date. I did not get a second date. And the worst part is that the pesto was stupid good,” she said.
