LOS ANGELES,CALIFORNIA: Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Costner and his ex-spouse, Christine Baumgartner, who have three children together, reportedly don't have any plans to get back together romantically despite managing to mend their relationship.

Following their divorce battle, it is rumored that Costner and Baumgartner are now speaking for the benefit of their children.

According to sources in know about their current situation, the former couple is reportedly taking the high road and putting their divorce battle behind them.

A source told Us Weekly, "They are now on speaking terms. Things are better" as they "didn't want it to get ugly for the kids' sake."

The source added, "There won't be a reconciliation. They're moving on."

However, Costner is "thrilled that the negotiations are over," the source added. "At the end of the day, Christine is the mother to his children and he didn't want to fight anymore."

The ex-couple has been preoccupied with legal matters involving child support, housing, and irregularities with their prenuptial agreement for the past four months.

The former handbag designer had received $129,000 in interim assistance before this. According to the couple's joint statement to MailOnline, "Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings."

The couple were married since 2004 and have three children together - Grace, 12, sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14.

Costner and his legal team believe Baumgartner planned to divorce the 'Yellowstone' actor long before she filed for divorce. Months before the couple split, she allegedly took cash advances on credit cards issued to her employees and purchased a new vehicle.

A court filing read, "Months before separation, although the parties had always leased their automobiles, without [Costner's] knowledge or consent, [Christine] bought an expensive vehicle for her personal use (probably because the [prenuptial agreement] allows her to take that vehicle with her),Thus, it appears that [Christine] had been planning her exit long before she told [Costner] in April 2023," as reported by People.
