Toddler wakes up from a nap to find herself in Disneyland — and the look on her face is everything

Every child dreams of waking up in Disneyland to spend a whimsical day among their favorite cartoon characters. It’s pure joy. But one toddler probably would not attest to it when she woke up amidst the magic of Disneyland. Hoping to create some core memories with her daughter, TikTok mom @brittikitty, headed to the theme park while her baby girl, Violet, dozed throughout the journey. All the enthusiasm and excitement of the theme park barely nudged her out of her cozy nap in her mother’s lap until they hopped on a particular ride. The toddler’s priceless reaction has fared all across the internet, amassing 13.1 million views. 

The mom filmed herself walking into Disneyland while Violet slumbered on her lap. The family even hopped on a fun water ride. Yet, the toddler barely noticed. As soon as the duo entered It's A Small World, Violet’s eyes opened to a world very different from reality. The poor daughter did not wake up to see the light of day, but a strange world of animatronics and music blasting in her ears. “Violet’s reaction to waking up mid-It’s a Small World with zero knowledge we were even going to Disneyland,” the mom stated in a text. 

Like any other human, Violet was taken aback by her sudden shift in reality and gawked at her mother and the questionable surroundings. Her eyes almost popped out while she scratched her head, trying to get a grasp of where she was. “Is this a fever dream?” an overlay text teased. In the caption, the TikTok mom disclosed that her daughter was clueless about their Disneyland trip and “slept the whole time until this ride!” Viewers smashed the like button with 2.2 million hearts and 4,000 comments about the daughter’s hilarious reaction. 

A top comment by @marib.xox wrote, “Being a kid is crazy. You just teleport places while you nap.” @thedoug3 pitched a prank and said, “For the rest of her life, you have to say that you never went. This was all in her head.” Many of the viewers related to Violet’s shock and expressed their own views on experiencing a similar situation. “If I were having a nap and woke up in a tunnel blasting music with lights and animatronics, I would probably have the biggest panic attack known to man, to be honest,” admitted @j.ordsss. "The fact that she slept through getting in the park, the walk back to the ride, standing in line, to wake up on It's a Small World," noted @stacypengster.

However, this was only one of Violet’s sleepy exploits. Another viral snippet shared by her parents, Violet slept through her day out. This time, there was a catch. The toddler had a spooky face paint on that only added to the hilarity of the situation. Her father carried her across places while she comfortably dozed off without a worry. Violet’s mom even tried to wake her up, but in vain. “Someone definitely called 911 on us,” the post joked, hinting at the suspicion the parents had to deal with.
