LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tommy Lee recalled how he used to "drink two gallons of vodka" per day during his peak rock 'n' roll years as the drummer for Motley Crue.
Lee, 61, claimed during an appearance on Bill Maher's podcast 'Club Random' that he once consumed "gallons and gallons" of vodka, as reported by People.

He said, “Alcohol is such a f---ing weird one, too, because, f---, it’s easy to fall in love with the way it makes you feel, where it makes you relax.”
He added, “And then all of a sudden you’re like, ‘F---, it’s amazing.’ I’m drinking two gallons of vodka a day where you’re trying to kill yourself now.”

The rocker, who is currently sober, acknowledged that he was shocked when his doctors told him he didn't have any long-term health issues because he drank huge amounts of alcohol when he was younger, as reported by Fox News.
Lee said, "I pinch myself on a daily basis." He joked that perhaps the physician had examined the incorrect results.
He said, "I just did the full body scan, where they do head-to-toe everything, and I can’t believe … smoking, drinking, all the f---ing dumb s---, or the fun s--- that I’ve done."
He added, "Dude, the doctor was, like, ‘You’re good.’ And I was like, ‘Are you sure you have the ...? Let me see. Is that my name on there, or … Because I find that f---ing impossible. This is impossible."

Prior to speaking publicly about his sobriety in 2020, Lee revealed how his fourth wife Brittany Furlan raised concerns about his risky habit.
"I was drinking just out of boredom, I would just wake up and be just building, just all vodka and just a little eyedropper of cranberry or lemonade. I was drinking two gallons … not pints, not quarts, but gallons — the big handles," as reported by Yahoo Entertainment.
