'She didn't get the diva memo': Travis Kelce’s dad praises Taylor Swift for picking up trash in VIP suite

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce’s father has offered some generous compliments for his son’s apparent lady love, Taylor Swift.

The ‘Love Story’ singer and Ed Kelce reportedly cheered together for Travis at Arrowhead Stadium on October 12.

‘Down-to-earth young woman’

Now, the senior Kelce has told People that the 33-year-old songwriter is “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”

Elaborating further, Ed said, “I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her.”

He continued, “We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around."

“Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”

‘I don't think she got the diva memo’

The father of the NFL star did not stop there as he further stated, “And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician.”

“And that really to me said a whole lot. She's very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away,” Ed added.

This comes as a tipster spilled that though Swift and Travis are busy personalities, they are giving “a real try” to their budding romance.

The source told People, “She's the biggest star in the world and it's no secret dating an athlete is very tough, but they've been texting and talking on the phone between the pockets of time they get to spend with each other.”

The insider continued, “There's not some looming date like, 'Oh, she's going back on tour' and 'his football schedule is getting crazy.' They'll figure it out.”

They also added, “He's said it himself, he knows what he signed up for with this attention, but they've spent time under the radar too. They're giving things a real try.”
