Tristan Thompson's ex Jordan Craig asks court to withhold star’s income over $224K unpaid child support
According to a 2019 child support settlement, Tristan Thompson is supposed to make a monthly payment of $40K to his ex

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tristan Thompson has been accused of owing almost a quarter of a million dollars in child support to the mother of one of his four children.
The NBA star has a six-year-old son named Prince with Jordan Craig, who has taken legal action against him over an alleged failure to pay child support.

Craig has reportedly requested a court to garnish his Cleveland Cavaliers income of $2.7 million.
Thompson is also the father of three other children, whom he shares with two different women, including Khloe Kardashian.
What are Jordan Craig's allegations?
Citing documents submitted in a Los Angeles court, The Daily Mail reported that Craig has alleged the 32-year-old player has been making “either partial payments or missing child support payments altogether” since November last year.

According to a 2019 child support settlement between Thompson and Craig, the former was supposed to make a monthly payment of $40,000 to his ex since April 2019.
Thompson reportedly owes $224,000 to his 32-year-old former partner.
Jordan Craig wants arrears cleared
As per the court filing, Thompson only paid $20,000 in the month of November.

He apparently gave the full amount in December but failed to send anything in January 2023.
Citing the filings, The Daily Mail stated that Thompson only sent $14,500 for each month from February to July, and in August gave $29,000 in child support, still not the full agreed amount.
Now, Craig has asked the court to withhold $80,000 a month from his total income and for this to "stay in effect until the arrears are satisfied."

Craig reportedly noted, “It is my belief that Tristan signed a 'veteran's minimum' contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $2.7 million per year. The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary.”
Tristan Thompson ‘never sees or speaks to his own son’
This comes after Craig’s sister Cyre slammed Thompson for being a bad dad to his firstborn.

“It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister's privacy I haven't for over seven years, but this is just too much,” the 31-year-old reportedly said.
She added, “The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, [but] he never sees, or speaks to his own son, unless it's for a party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable.”
