Weather reports aren't traditionally the most entertaining part of the daily news broadcasts, but once in a while eccentric anchors, bloopers, or other eye-catching incidents on air, bring them into the spotlight. A weatherman recently took the internet by storm after he turned his forecast into a song by adding lyrics.

A recent excerpt from Adam Krueger's weather broadcast was uploaded on TikTok and ended up racking more than 350,000 likes and 2.8 million views. In the video, he was seen incorporating Eminem lyrics into his weather forecast report. He can be heard saying "round the outside," "guess who's back," and "testing, attention please" from the rapper's song "Without Me".

In an interview with Newsweek, the weatherman said, "I forecast and build my graphics first, then let the ideas come to me throughout our morning show. My main objective is to make sure whatever I'm sneaking in the weather still makes sense and doesn't detract from the weather story of the day."

He began to switch up the weather forecast in April of 2022, when a daily word game called Wordle was making rounds on the internet. “The joke around the office was you couldn’t talk about the Wordle of the day without spoiling it for someone else,” says Krueger. “As a nod to the people at work that already solved it, I would just stick the Wordle in my weather [forecast] at some point over the course of the morning. No matter what the word was, I would do it. Sometimes that takes some kind of creativity to weave it into my forecast," he told Sucess

Now, he is known for making weather reports cool and his unique approach has been praised by many on the internet since people simply cannot get enough. "I've had a lot of comments from people in the Houston area saying they are switching to our program in the morning to see what I do next. Many others online joke that they're going to move to Houston just to watch me.In fact, even people from all over the world are sending me messages and showing support. It's been a whirlwind, and I plan to keep it going!," he told Newsweek.

Eminem is not the only artist whose songs he likes to incorporate in his weather reports, he has gone from adding Taylor Swift lyrics to using Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise. As per a Pew Research study, just 8 percent of those between the ages of 18 to 29 get news from network TV, compared with 49 percent of those 65 and older.

Looks like Krueger is affecting these numbers,  "I've had a lot of comments from people in the Houston area saying they are switching to our program in the morning to see what I do next. Many others online joke that they're going to move to Houston just to watch me," he told Newsweek.

"In fact, even people from all over the world are sending me messages and showing support. It's been a whirlwind, and I plan to keep it going!," he added.

Adam Krueger, who is known as @weatheradam across his social media platforms didn't plan on being the influencer he is today. His TikTok account has amassed more than 1.9 million followers and his videos have been shared by celebrities including, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg.
