Woman finds green stains all over her house. Then she realizes her husband is having an affair.

It's hard to tell when someone is being unfaithful but the truth doesn't stay hidden for long and even the weirdest hints could expose the reality. In one such instance, a woman discovered her husband's affair after her house started turning green in a bizarre turn of events. When Reddit user @mioraa noticed an odd occurrence—her cat's once-white fur had become bluish-green—she turned to the internet for solutions. When the eerie green stains swiftly spread to her walls, bed linens, couch, and even her phone charger, she began to feel confused and anxious. Even then, she had no idea about the shocking reality that would be revealed.

She first thought it might be mold. She even suspected her laundry detergent out of desperation for answers, but her theory was soon disproved when she discovered that her clothing was still intact. The woman conducted a few tests to rule out possible explanations because she was determined to solve the mystery. Her Reddit post also sparked a lot of crazy theories, with some users blaming hard water and others pointing to copper in cleaning products. But the true answer was something she never saw coming.
One Reddit user, @PartyHorse17610, commented, "I’ve seen stories about industrial materials like copper from roofing materials turning cats green. Are your cats' indoor cats or do they have access to industrial or cleaning materials that might be stored in your garage, closet, or laundry room?" Another person, @Jupitersd2017, wrote, "Long shot but maybe check under your bed (if you have box springs) or under any furniture, sometimes the material used under furniture will degrade and break up over time and dye things, I had it happen with a chair once and it took me a while to figure out that’s where the color was coming from."
She even had a mold test done on her house just to be sure, but the findings were negative. Just as she was about to give up, she came across an unexpected Reddit comment that led her down a road that would ultimately solve the mystery. A person with the username @Inside-Salary-4694 wrote, "Or possibly just buy some new jeans from Old Navy?? lol, they stain everything." The surprising truth that her husband was cheating with a lady who frequently wore jeans was revealed thanks to this comment. She made the connection as it flashed on her. He had a history of being unfaithful before. She remembered his unexpected late work nights and behavioral changes. It took a trail of green stains to ultimately reveal the affair, even though the indications had been there all along, as reported by Distractify.

She looked through his Instagram and found all the information she needed, even though she didn't find any suspicious Old Navy bills. She found flirtatious DMs from a woman who loved denim while scrolling through his chats. Her partner also couldn't deny that he was cheating when she questioned him about it. The woman wrote, “He did not deny the affair nor said mean things or gaslight. He didn’t beg for another chance either. He just asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted him to go back to his parent’s house and we’ll talk about the legal stuff in the near future." She took her cat, left for her parents' house, and handed her husband divorce papers for his betrayal.
