Woman rewatches a clip of her dancing with wife — then she sees her mom-in-law's reaction behind

When having a good time, hitting record on your phone is an ideal way to capture precious candid moments. Creator Victoria Bennie, who goes by @vikto_willy on TikTok, did just that. Everyone dreams about a perfect wedding and supportive in-laws. On that note, Bennie flaunted her blessings of having a loving wife and an adorable mother-in-law. Out for a fun night with the family, Bennie and her wife were enjoying the live music at a pub when she unknowingly filmed a sweet moment. The video received 86,000 likes and loving reactions from viewers. 

In the video, Bennie and her wife dance to a romantic live song playing while her in-laws sit at the table behind them. She recorded herself wrapped in her wife’s arms when her eyes fell on her mother-in-law, who was looking at them with a loving gaze. Moving the camera towards her in-laws, the mother-in-law then waved at her with a shy smile. The couple was happy to have shared the moment with her. However, Bennie did not realize this until she went home and rewatched the video. The next morning, she was checking out her gallery and happened to notice her mother-in-law’s purest reaction. Touched, Bennie could not resist sharing the candid moment with her 1.5 million followers on TikTok. 

Unable to contain her joy, Bennie wrote in an overlay text on the snippet, “I was taking a cute video of my wife and I while out with her parents, and the next day I rewatched it and caught my mother-in-law looking at us adoringly.” Whereas, in the caption, the TikTok user expressed, “I’m crying. I love double dates with my in-laws.” She talked to Newsweek about her close-knit bond with her mother-in-law and how this video was only a reflection of her loving nature. "This was our first time seeing my in-laws since the wedding. My in-laws had actually planned that double date so that we could recap just how amazing our big day was,” Bennie said. 

The creator noted her mother-in-law’s “genuine and raw” reaction in the moment, but was not surprised because that is how she moved through the world. "My mother-in-law is someone who moves through the world with so much love. I know that she was happy to see that her daughter has someone who loves her just as much as she does," she told the media channel. The duo often texts on group chats and bonds over tennis, TV shows, and recipes. She aspired for her future kids to look at them just the way her mother-in-law swooned at the couple– with love pouring out of her eyes.

People were quick to recognize the wholesome instance and showered the couple with love and blessings. Many others shared that they hope to find a loving mother-in-law like Bennie’s. One person (@nmal051), “I aspire to have a mother-in-law like urs.” While another (@hlatsi_kamo17) said, “May this kind of love locate me.” “You got so lucky,” cried a third internet user (@sheloveswordss). 

However, some people shared their personal experiences with their mother-in-laws, and it was not all happy. “My mother-in-law's friends list on Facebook thinks her daughter married a man because I’m just a secret to her, I wish she loved us like this,” shared @vanessathomasrampero.
