Three kindhearted schoolboys help new kid after seeing him lost and crying on bus after first day
'That little fella will know there are good people who will help him,' said the mother of one of the boys who helped the unnamed child

NETHERTON, LIVERPOOL: A woman has shared a very touching story of three boys, including her son, who helped another schoolboy in distress.
Collette Campbell reportedly posted the story on the social media page, where she said that the unnamed 11-year-old child was in tears after he boarded the wrong bus on his first day at school.
The Year 7 student was scared since he apparently had no money to go back to his family in Netherton, Liverpool, or phone to contact them.
However, Year 11 student Tom O'Brien and Year 7 students Harry Campbell and Dylan Robson did not leave the boy alone and helped him get home safely. O’Brien even gave the lost student £10 ($12.47) so that he could get a taxi.
‘I'm very proud of him’
Collette wrote online, as per The Mirror, “It was my husband who saw Harry standing outside the house, talking to this boy we had never seen before.
“Harry had told Dylan to ring the taxi to pick him up from our house, to make sure he got home safe. Then he walked him to ours and stood outside waiting until the taxi came.”
She explained, “God love him, this little fella was upset and had got on the wrong bus, and with it being his first day wouldn't have known very many people either.”
“I asked Harry if had he seen the boy and how he was and he said he was fine and thanked him. I just think it is lovely. I'm very proud of him. It puts faith back in humanity and that little fella will know there are good people who will help him,” Collette added.
Besides, Tom’s father Kenny also expressed his pride over his son’s kind gesture.
“I am very proud of him. He is a very thoughtful lad and has a great personality,” he reportedly said.
Dylan's mother Toni also praised her son and the two other boys, saying, “He came home and said that there was a boy on the wrong bus and he was upset. He told me about Tom giving him the money and how he and Harry had rang a taxi.”
She added, “I am very proud of him. I would hope that if it was my son in the same situation, someone would have helped him.”
Headteacher commends Tom O'Brien
Holy Family Catholic High School’s headteacher Matthew Symes said, “Tom is an incredibly thoughtful and all round good guy.”
“He has set a great example in front of a whole bus of Year 7's - who have all that worry and anxiety about the bigger kids. It is a brilliant example of the older pupils looking out for them,” Symes stated.
