In a world overrun by greed and the pursuit of power, moments when humanity comes together to show kindness shine bright as a ray of hope. This is why Marguerite's TikTok video asking to people to check out her father's book was received positively and the online community celebrated with her. Millions saw her father's struggle and made his book "Stone Maidens" the No.1 Bestseller on Amazon. The video touched so many hearts that the father-daughter duo were called to media outlets for interviews. The book's sequel has now been published and is also doing very well on the charts.

The video starts by featuring Lloyd as he is working on his book. The first overlay text that welcomes the viewers says, "My dad spent 14 years writing a book." She further described how he managed to finish his book while being a hands-on dad. The work was published 11 years ago, and despite having low sales, he was beyond happy since it was enough for him that even a few people enjoyed his book. The daughter ended the video by requesting everyone to check out the book and help him get "some views." The video went viral with more than 50 million views and the book's sales skyrocketed after more than a decade.

They continued to make videos to promote the book and the father also revealed his inspiration for the book in one of them. He said, "Stone Maidens was inspired by real murder and series of murders that happened when he was living in the state of Indiana." He also borrowed settings like ravines into the book, while one victim was also a close friend of the family. She somehow managed to survive, but this left such an impact on Lloyd that he wrote a book about it.
