A Farmer Had to Sell His Cow to a Neighbor But Her Affection Towards Him Brought Her Back Home

While bonds between human beings and pets such as dogs and cats are widely shared on social media, few would consider that such a relationship could take shape between a farmer and his livestock. But a recent video posted by Logan Waller (@logan.waller2) proves otherwise by featuring a cow who came back to his farm after being sold to a neighbor. Considering how safe she feels on his property, it can be assumed that both of them share a lovely relationship. In what can be described as a tough move that also took an emotional toll on the farmer, he sold his cow to a neighbor in exchange for some money. The deal was sealed and the cow was shifted to the buyer's residence, but her affection for the farmer and his old farm was so strong that she came back.

Describing the video, Logan wrote, "When you sell your cow to your neighbor, without asking her first, so she just walks back home." The adorable cow did not last even a day on the neighbor's farm, and the moment she realized what was going on, she jumped back. Logan shared in his caption, "Sold my cow to the neighbor, she was his for about 7 seconds then jumped ship and walked home." The video showed the beloved cow peacefully walking on the field, enjoying the view of the lovely grass before she comfortably made her way into the shed. There was no way she was spending an entire day away from her humble abode. The song "Home" by Daughtry playing in the background perfectly encapsulated the cow's emotions and the video hit viral status with more than 10 million views.

In a follow-up video, Logan shared that it was the cow's decision that reigned supreme in his household and so he got her back. The video was made in reply to a comment given by @bsumbaddie- "Logan, I need an update. Did you buy her back successfully?" Considering the way she was peacefully grazing on the field, it is safe to say that the neighbor understood where her heart was and let her go. Logan wrote in the overlay text, "She is happy to be back home."

Viewers loved how the cow stood up for herself and @kathyadkins79 wrote in the comments, "She was like nope… grass is not greener and I am going home." Sharing her own experience and belief that this is simply how cows roll in their lives, @labarrelhorses said, "We have a cow because she jumped several fences and decided our pasture was her new home. Finally found the owner and actually bought her because she wouldn’t stay at his house." @franny_b commented, "Wait, this actually made me cry! We do not deserve the pure love of animals." @4thgenfarmer38 was amused at how the cow took care of her home in her walk back to the shed and remarked, "I like how she walks around the crop instead of through the middle."
