Kids are masters at fooling their parents in the most innocent and hilarious ways. They might fake being asleep, quickly hide something under the table, or suddenly act super focused on their homework the moment their parents walk in. These little tricks often make the parents laugh, even if they know exactly what’s going on. In one such adorable moment, a clever little girl has gone viral on TikTok for pulling off the ultimate good girl act in front of her dad, who immediately caught her. The incident also earned her the label of 'evil genius.' The video clip was shared on TikTok by @emerginntv.

The video begins with the dad heading upstairs and slightly panning his camera to show his daughter calmly sitting at her desk, eating her food. He then goes into a dark room to grab a CCTV monitor and makes his way back down. But here’s where the twist comes in—he checks the footage, and is surprised to see that his daughter was nowhere near the desk. He watches the monitor closely and then, as he heads back toward the room, the camera catches the little girl running back to her seat as she hears her dad's footsteps. The overlay text on the video reads, "Do not let the cuteness fool you. She's like an evil genius."

The caption read, "Life of a girl's dad. I'm lowkey proud because in her head, she got away with it." The little girl was heaped with praise for her adorable innocence and clever little act. One TikTok user, @ive_rod74, jokingly commented, “I feel so sorry for you. She’s a master at such a young age. You'd better get something better than that camera.” Another person, @bader_adam, gave a suggestion saying, “Bro step your game up before she starts climbing out of windows to go to parties.” @johnny_alba18 also jokingly suggested, “Set another camera and show us where she goes because I am damn curious.”

In another similar incident, a mom on TikTok, Amanda Stella (@amandastella195), shared a funny yet adorable clip of her baby girl, Mia. It featured Mia in her crib, staying still as Amanda tried to wake her up. The little one faked being asleep, hoping to avoid getting out of her bed. She wasn't ready to leave her cozy spot. Though her face was turned to the other side, it was quite obvious that the baby was awake and playfully tricking her mom. Each time Amanda spotted her with her eyes open, Mia quickly covered her face and pretended to be fast asleep.

Meanwhile, a child psychologist, Sam Wass, spoke about how being mischievous and slightly naughty is a natural in childhood. As reported by HELLO Magazine, he said, "Often in children, naughtiness is about social experimentation, driven by curiosity as to how other people will react – and those are both markers of intelligence. Whilst this isn’t true for everyone, it is fair to say that mischief-making can be a sign of intelligence." He also suggested that even if parents are tired, they must still enjoy exploring the funny side of their kids.
